Well,
I have moved on to motorcycles. I now have a 1984 Honda CB-125S that gives me 98 MPG in the city. I also have a 2001 Yamaha Virago 250 that only gives me 80 MPG. Lastly, I have a 800cc Suzuki Boulevard M50. Unfortunately, it only gets 49 MPG. I rode the Suzuki to Sturgis during the rally (that's when I averaged 49 MPG) and loved cruising the Black Hills. I must admit, with the "forward controls" on the Boulevard, my butt got sore on the long ride to Sturgis. I know a scooter would not do that to me, since I could shift positions so much easier on a scooter, but I did not see one scooter in Sturgis. I'm afraid they would run me off the streets if I showed up on one. So, the Boulevard is lots of fun. The Honda is fun at slower speeds and gives fantastic gas mileage, and the Suzuki is for sale with the Vespa.

1977 Garelli SuperSport XL toptank moped for sale. $450, obo.
Bike is complete. It has brand new petcock, tubes, and tires installed. Fuel tank is clean. I do have the taillight. It also comes with the complete shop manual for the engine.
Ran great last Fall before storing for the winter. Tubes/tires were put on this Spring.
It's hard to find a toptank in this condition!
Finally feeling the financial crunch from my wreck last Fall. I didn't want to sell any bikes, but it looks like I have to.

My guess on the gas in the oil problem would be a blown seal in the engine. I'd factor in the cost of splitting the cases open and replacing seals. Locally, that's about $300-$400 bucks. And that doesn't fix the striped plug on the case.

A dude (pardon the formality), just bought a GTV 250, and is trying to sell his P200 b/c of the wife, so I'm throwing this up since its a pretty decent piece.

I will say this: White P200 with left hand exhaust and less than 500 miles since a California based restoration. We (Vespa STL) are fixing it up for sale, so its available for the next few days up there for viewing. Its a pretty cocky mofo, it deserves a look.

$525 WORB 5 SIP Sportauspuffanlage! This is an awesome exhaust for a PX Series Bike that I can no longer use. I would also like to mention that I am very bummed about this because it is so bad ass! The Exhaust has only been fitted once and run for about 1 minute. I found that it was too large for my Rally so my loss is your gain. It comes with the springs and mounting bracket. With shipping this pipe was over $600 from SIP, my loss is your gain. I would trade for a 226 Vintage HBomb or Hotwing that would fit a Rally 180. Please call Noah at 314-971-1054.

Hacks are a funny animal, more like driving then riding. You will eat up rear tires about 1200 miles, you will have to rotate the front and side care "if" they are the same tire or the front will cup real bad. Last but not least I hope you enjoy talking to people (this will get old), cause everyone wants to talk about it. Your quick trip to the store will take three time longer then if you are on a regular scoot. You will get use to the people pointing at you like you have two heads.
