So today I had to get some new tires for the cage and there was a movie house right down the way so it was The American or The Expendables so I choose The American bad choice but it had a ton of Ape's and a late 80's PX and there was a chase scene with Clooney chasing a guy in a cage shooting at him! Pretty much the only cool part in the whole movie that and the nunity

There's nothing like a steel-toed boot in a door panel!

And when the cops arrives, you can clearly state the cager swerved into your lane, and you were trying to keep from getting hit!

And if it gets nasty, lay on the ground...by the downed bike.

Anything worth fighting for...is worth fighting DIRTY for!

I actually ride wearing body armor- not just for the lead bugs that might come buzzing my way, but for the blunt trauma from a wreck.

Considering I ride at night, and in areas where deer are known for jumping out from anywhere...anything helps. (Besides a STL motorcycle cop I know wears it when he even riding his own bike- he had a major spill and his vest saved his back from serious injury!)

It depends on what type of battery you have.

If it's a lead-acid battery it should work for a while yet depending upon how many times you've fully discharged it. Each time you fully discharge a LA battery you halve it's life.

If you end up charging it all day and it still doesn't start, take the battery in to a local auto parts store and have it tested before you buy a new one.

IF it's an AGM (gel-filled) type battery, then it should be fine. One of the reasons they're more expensive (i.e. not sold at WalMart) is that you can fully discharge an AGM battery several times without halving its effective life.

That's not true at all! I frequently make it from West Pine to Southwest w/o hitting any stoplights. There's even been a couple times when I've gone from Delmar to Gravois, hitting maybe one light along the way.

When the lights turn Green going South, it helps to punch it till you're past 40. You should be able to make all the lights, except perhaps the last one @ Barnes/Steinberg Rink. If you make it past all the lights, keep cruising @ ~35mph, slowing down only if you see Red ahead of you. If you slow down early enough, the Reds should become Greens before you get there. Trust me, it can be done!
